Years after my last post here, voila!

My new book You Get What You Need:  Stories of Fans of the Rolling Stones is out (Miniver Press, 2014)!  Some of you reading may know it's based on interviews with over 100 hard core fans, talking about how they first heard the music, highlights of the concerts, and situations where they interacted with the Stones, either individually or from the audience.  They also discuss how they picked their usernames such as Honkytonk Woman 33 or Keefriff, and how their online interactions influenced their offline experiences.

For the cover below, the graphic is by artist Kristen Thiele adapted from a photo of Keith Richards with long-time fan Blue Lena.  The lettering  and design is by Scarlett Rugers, the forward is by Doug Potash, head of Shidoobee--the writing is mine!  If you need a copy, paper or ebook, the link is here:  http://www.amazon.com/You-Get-What-Need-Stories/dp/1939282330/

Check out the reviews so far, the Table of Contents, and you can read the first chapter too.  Thanks for 'listening.'
